Prince R. Drago, LMHC

COO, Executive Director

Prince Drago is the Co-Founder of Healthy Connections, CMHC and a respected clinician in the behavioral healthcare industry, serving both as a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisor through the state of Florida. Ms. Drago earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and received her graduate degrees from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida.

Ms. Drago began her career as a doctoral intern at Miami Children’s Hospital serving adolescents with severe mental health ailments. Her professional practice progressed to working with all age populations, most commonly diagnosed on the schizophrenia spectrum, bipolar disorders, substance use disorders, and major depressive disorders. Her experience has been applied in diverse clinical, administrative, consultant and service positions in an array of psychiatric and mental health settings, that most notably include; Miami Children’s Hospital, University of Miami Hospital (former Cedar’s Hospital), and other various community mental health centers across South Florida.

Since 2001, Ms. Drago has been fully dedicated to the vision of Healthy Connections, CMHC, which emphasizes the promotion of mental health education and the delivery of optimal mental health services within the community. In addition, to her clinical work, she manages the human resource department, provides supervision to graduate student interns and oversees the day to day operations of the center. Her projects and areas of interests have focused on the expansion of high quality psychological services and the implementation as well as the operation of treatment programs directing the provision of social services across Miami-Dade County.

Beatriz Martinez, LMHC

CEO

Beatriz Martinez is the Co-Founder of Healthy Connections, CMHC. She began her career at Jackson Memorial Hospital specializing in the field of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders and other mental health conditions. Ms. Martinez earned a Master’s degree from Nova University and has been a licensed clinician since 1996. Besides her clinical proficiency, she has extensive expertise in the areas of behavioral health regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

Ms. Martinez has developed Triumph: A Curriculum for All Schools and Universities. Her goal is to teach children the necessary skills to develop the thought patterns needed to deal with any situation successfully, tap into their unlimited potential, and grow up inspired to create the extraordinary life they deserve.

Ms. Martinez’s community service endeavors include serving on the board of the South Florida Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and she, also, serves as a committee member of the Christopher Ricardo Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Dr. Silvia Silva-Duluc, MD, PA

Medical Director

Dr. Silvia Silva-Duluc, MD completed her medical degree from the “Universidad Central Del Este” in the Dominican Republic. Following the consummation of medical school, Dr. Silva-Duluc, MD completed her psychiatry residency as well as fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital located in Miami, Florida.

With over 16 years working in the Mental Health field, Dr. Silva-Duluc, MD has dedicated herself to serving the psychiatric and psychological needs amongst a vast array of populations within the community. Having worked in various mental health centers in Miami-Dade County, Dr. Silva-Duluc, MD has widespread knowledge in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, most commonly with individuals and families struggling with substance abuse, ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia and many other psychiatric ailments.

In addition, to Dr. Silva-Duluc’s, MD extensive clinical background, she also emphasizes education and training as an integral part of her career. She serves as a psychiatric educator for training students, residents and fellows in the Psychiatry & Behavioral Health department at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami and Larkin Hospital.

Dr. Silvia Silva-Duluc, MD has served as Healthy Connections, CMHC medical director and attending physician since 2012.
